I'm thinking of starting a Semi-Regular Segment

Reposted For Maximum Input (Ok This is the Last Time I Swear)

I live on a very busy street in-between two school zones and also near a major highway. So, I see alot of cars (some very interesting) go by my house at reasonable speeds. I was thinking of calling this segment "Seen From My Driveway". In this segment I would spend 30 minutes on my driveway with my camera taking photos of cars I see go by. Is there an interest for this type of content on Oppo? I took the above photo about 5 minutes ago.

I was thinking of doing this same type of post but in my work parking lot. Right now there is a Tesla P85, 2014 WRX, 2013 911, 2002 Boxster, 2011 CLS 63AMG, Bentley Continental GT, 2009 BMW 335i, and an S2000...and that's just what I can see out the window.

Exactly, thats what I meant. We could all do our own variation of the same idea, and call it something slightly different. While I do from my driveway, others can do from the passenger seat or from my kitchen window, etc...

This reminds me of this one time when I was 20 years dumber; I tried to throw an action figure under a passing car for fun. I ended up just throwing my Power Ranger at a guys car door as he drove past. He promptly came to a halt, jumped out, and asked me, "what the hell is wrong with you?!" (A valid question). Throwing an action figure seemed like a good idea at the time so I just stood there, flabbergasted that my fun had been cut short and that I was being berated for a crime caused by a sense of joyful abandonment. I guess the guy was a nice guy cus he just hopped into his car without another word and drove away with a Red Ranger smudge on his door.

Anyway, instead of taking boring pictures, you should throw stuff under peoples' cars as they drive by and see how well you can avoid being yelled at/filming angry reactions.

Maybe because I'd be home I could use my tripod. I have 3. One very old one (probably from the 60s), one newish and one still in the box. Now if only I can find the one in the box, I put it somewhere and forgot where I put it

Aww man, I wish I had a Mono pod. I got all my tripods for super cheap, my in box one was 10 bucks at good will, its a dynex too, originally 30 bucks. My newish one came with my camera and my old one was my late cousin's. Paying full price for more than one camera mount is not in the budget for me. May I ask how much you paid for it?
